July 13, 2023 – The highly anticipated Kia EV9 makes its European dynamic debut today (July 13) at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in Sussex, England. Following its European static unveiling in Frankfurt, Germany in May, the Kia EV9 now makes its first dynamic appearance, demonstrating Kia's commitment to cutting-edge design and sustainable mobility. From July 13 through July 16, more than 200,000 visitors are expected to come together to experience the full throttle, four-day summer event – with millions following the global broadcast.
The EV9, Kia’s brand-new all-electric flagship SUV, is on dynamic display at the prestigious hillclimb event. The car will be driven up the 1.86-kilometre hill several times throughout the weekend by pro driver Jade Paveley. Between drives, the EV9 will be on display in the ‘First Glance Paddock’. Kia will also exhibit an EV9 vehicle at the event’s ‘Electric Avenue’ area, where visitors will be able to explore the flagship SUV for themselves. Kia experts will be available to provide in-depth insights into the new model.

It offers a driving range of up to 541 kilometres (WLTP combined cycle), and features 800V ultra-fast charging technology, enabling it to add 239 kilometres of range in just 15 minutes from the fastest public chargers.
The Kia EV9 is one of several new models to feature in Kia’s ‘Plan S’ mid- to long-term electrification plan. The strategy will see Kia launch 15 EVs globally by 2027.
